The Green Project
One morning, a kind teacher told her class, "Children, let’s help the earth! I want everyone to plant a small tree and give it lots of love." The children were happy.

The love of the Nature
They dug small holes in the dirt and planted their tiny green saplings. The kids were very excited. The teacher told them to take care of the plants.

But soon, they forgot to water their plants. They didn't pull the weeds or check on them. Because the little trees were thirsty and alone, they turned brown and died. The teacher realised the children didn't know how important trees really are. To teach them a lesson, the teacher organised a picnic for the next day. The children cheered and hapily waited for the next morning.

The next morning, the school bus took them to a picnic spot. It was out of town, and they walked to a beautiful place where the grass was long and the trees were very tall. Being in nature, all the students felt very happy.

The children ran and played in the bright, yellow sunshine. It was fun, but soon they felt very hot and sweaty. The sun was strong, and they were tired. They needed a place to cool down.

They all ran to a big, old tree with many leaves. As they sat underneath it, the air felt cool and fresh. The tree was like a giant umbrella protecting them from the heat. "Thank you, tree!" they whispered as they rested.
When the children got hungry, the teacher opened her basket. She gave them juicy apples, sweet oranges, and crunchy pears. "These are yummy!" said the kids. The teacher smiled and told them, "Remember, these sweet snacks grow on trees!"

After lunch, they walked to a wooden bridge over a blue river. They saw the water splashing and the birds singing in the branches. They felt very happy and peaceful. They realised that the world was a beautiful place because of the water and the woods.

After roaming all around, they went back to the big tree. The teacher asked them to sit in the soft shadow of the tree. She said, "The shade, the water, and the fruit all come from nature. Trees give us air to breathe and food to eat." The children looked at the big tree and made a new promise: to always take care of nature, just like nature takes care of them.

Finally they learned that trees are friends. They keep us cool when it is hot. Nature is a gift. It gives us delicious food and beautiful places to play. And small trees need our help to grow big and strong!
